Griffin, Dakota, and Piper Philips are members of the YMCA’s Hartwell Hydros swim team. They participated in the North Georgia Swim League Championship Meet in Clarkesville, GA in July 2013.

Dakota between races
Dakota checks the schedule to find her next race. The schedules are available for purchase at the event, racers do not automatically receive one.
Griffin between races. There are about a dozen teams competing in the Championship and the building turns into a makeshift indoor campground of sorts
Some of the kids were only interested in the races in which they were participating.

Piper is very outgoing, but can be a little shy when accepting compliments.

In a swim meet, you hear a lot of yelling from the far end of the pool, “Come on, come on, come on!!!”, followed immediately by “Go, go, go!”
